    Children in Need

What will it cost and how do we pay?

The "charging" will be different for this event.

We charge separately for the organiser pack and hope that the club will consider covering that cost .. this covers all the costs involved in actually getting material printed and posted etc. Please be aware that NO ONE charges for their time - everyone working for this event gives his or her time free, and ECatsBridge makes no charge for scoring it. Click here for the cost of the pack. Doing it this way means that all the money raised over the 5 evenings goes entirely to Children in Need.

And to that end, we ask that all participants donate as much as they can. We suggest a minimum of £3.00 per player (that is the same as the BGB and EBU Simultaneous Pairs entry fees), but it is entirely up to the individual - we would love you to put more into the "kitty" if you can, but if you can't, or if you can't afford that much we still want you to play and enjoy the event. We fully understand that it may be more than some people (especially students) can afford, so if you can only afford .50p then please come and play anyway.

We also hope that clubs will look for some extra funds by perhaps getting some sponsorship, getting their landlord to waive the hire of the hall for the evening and putting that in the "kitty", holding a raffle or whatever - anything to top up the funds! Click here for some ideas.

    Entry Fees and Donations

All the entry fees and donations should also be sent to Anna, but please make the cheque for these payable to ECatsBridge Charity Account so that we can keep it separate and do one BIG cheque for Children in Need at the end! The address for cheques is:

    ECatsBridge for Children in Need
    The Old Railway Station
    Long Melford
    Sudbury, Suffolk CO10 9HN

    Paying for the Organiser Pack

We ask you to pay for the pack as soon as you receive it, making the cheque payable to A&J Enterprises. This is so that we can pay the printer and other necessary costs as soon as possible! The cheque should be sent to
    Anna Gudge
    The Old Railway Station
    Long Melford
    Sudbury, Suffolk C010 9HN
